Dr. Mabruk has over 30 years broad based experience in inspection, corrosion engineering, and operation for both upstream and downstream
petroleum and petrochemical processes, with a postgraduate qualification in corrosion engineering, and skills that has constantly evolved to meet the challenges and requirements of the most current business environment.
During the last eleven years he has successfully performed the duties of
senior corrosion and material engineer, and head of inspection and corrosion engineering in petrochemical and petroleum refining industry. In addition, he has carried out many consultancy and training activities related to inspection, materials and corrosion
issues.
He has also carried out more than 100 corrosion and material failure investigations. He is conversant with NACE, ASME, API, ASTM, and ANSI
standard and recommended practices. He is knowledgeable in asset integrity management, have proposed the dynamic approach methodology, presented this topic in several conferences, and published
several papers on corrosion of stainless steels.
